Somewhat not smartly I climbed all 5 days I was in the Valley. Shoulder feels good, finger is not very happy. Many stellar, tall granite blocs were summited and overall I was extremely pleased with my effort. So many good boulders to do out there plus MIDNIGHT LIGHTNING still looms as a lifetime goal.
Nice Narc! I saw an old climbingnarc post long ago about bouldering in the valley as well. A new TR coming up? And yeah, if I ever did midnight lightning I would quit climbing then and there. There would be nothing that could top that. ce
PS. I probably wouldn't actually quit climbing. Maybe just for the day.
I might try to do a trip report. I didn't get a ton of pictures but I think I have enough to do it up. So many things happened climbing and non-climbing that it may be hard to cover everything coherently. Right now I've been awake for almost 30 hours straight so I'm just trying to maintain sanity until work ends today.
Runnells, I don't believe it. I need pictures and a full report. On the asap.
Also, some dude down south overheard us talking about Jenga and asked us about it. He'd seen the video on your site of you dry firing off the last hold. That shit was hilarious, by the way.
NEWS FLASH: I WENT BOULDERING LAST WEEK AND IT WAS REALLY REALLY FUN!!!!!
ReplyDeleteNice narc! did you get injured? if so, what? if not, how'd you climb? :-)
