New Psych

It seems that the end of summer is coming soon and Katie and I have started to get more and more excited as time goes on. We've started to train a bit harder and we're both coming out of relative lulls that we had going on during June and July.

We've been lucky enough this summer to have gotten out a fair amount and for most of that it's been relatively mild. We couldn't be more psyched for the fall though. So many good things happening that it's hard to comprehend!! What's funny is that with all the excitement that everyone is feeling right now, there has been relatively nothing going on locally! Hopefully there will be some activity soon.

Tomorrow is looking fantastic and Katie and I are heading out to the West Bluff. 71 and sunny!!! I want to try Alpine Club again, for about the millionth time, and Katie is going to get back on Anchorpoint. I think after that we're gonna look at some of the stuff that Remo found a while ago. Curious what it's all going to be like.

What the hell is everyone else working on?!?!? Out with it!!

  1. Anchorpoint. 9ish. Live this plan...75% sure at least.

  2. All work and no play makes Johnny a dull boy. All work and no play makes Johnny a dull boy. All work and no play makes Johnny a dull boy. All work and no play makes Johnny a dull boy. All work and no play makes Johnny a dull boy. All work and no play makes Johnny a dull boy. ce

  3. Or was it Jack? Anyone seen the Shining recently? ce

  4. anything go down today???

  5. Steve you send? Katie do Anchorpoint? I snuck out of town to the Dodge this evening and relearned 2 importants facts about GD that I seem to need to relearn every year. 1) Hiking in the woods at the Dodge in the summer SUCKS. And 2) Just because it's nice and cool outside does not mean it won't be humid as hell in the woods at the Dodge. Ugh. ce

  6. Lets see what projects am I working on? Hmmm, well there is the one of sampling every Indian dessert in existence before I leave. There is also the trying to build my beer drinking capacity. All in all I hope I can send my one pack project soon.

  7. @Narc did you at least live some other good plan? Steve we're dying here, the weather was awesome, did you guys get out? ce

  8. Indeed, it does looks pretty nice!

  9. Alright all!! The update will have to wait until tomorrow as I'm recovering from being sick all weekend. Not so rad.

    Quick recap though:

    - Katie absolutely hiked the crux move on Anchorpoint multiple times and she should send VERY soon. Apparently she found some motivation!

    - I got more and more sick throughout Saturday but did end up getting on Alpine Club. I can't say either way as to how it felt because I felt more like taking a nap than trying hard. Katie though remembers everything. She said that I was stronger on I've ever been, and that was third day on. I only remember snot.

    - We lived the plan....Narc did not...

    - We saw anywhere from 5-6 other bouldering groups parking in the south shore lot. COOL!
